Edit

A few things clients often ask before commissioning a project.

  • What formats do you deliver in?
    For film projects, final cuts are delivered as H.264 or ProRes, sized and compressed for your intended platform — broadcast, web, or social. For photography, high-resolution JPEGs and TIFFs are supplied, retouched and ready to use. If you need a specific format or spec, just say so at brief stage.
  • How does the briefing process work?
    We start with a conversation — what you need, where it goes, and who sees it. From there Nikolai puts together a creative direction before any scheduling happens. The aim is to have a clear shared picture before anyone picks up a camera.
  • Do you travel for projects?
    Yes. Nikolai travels for shoots regularly, both domestically and internationally. Travel and accommodation are agreed at quote stage and added transparently to the project budget.
  • What are typical lead times?
    It depends on the scope. A single-day commercial shoot with a short edit can turn around in one to two weeks. A documentary or multi-day event project will need more lead time to plan properly. The earlier you get in touch, the more flexibility there is around scheduling.
